The Roast of 2018: (Semi) Immersive Listening to EVERYTHING from this Year

Whitney George at Nowadays

Wed, Dec 19 at 7:30 p.m.   |   90 minutes

I don't care about anyone not liking me, you bitches barely like yourselves.

- Cardi B

What better way to celebrate the end of the year than with a review of the best (and the worst) of what's happened musically in 2018. Composer/conductor Whitney George will put together a playlist that embodies the rollercoaster that was 2018 and we'll ask that age-old question: what will withstand the test of time? Are there any potential classics that were introduced this year? What are some trends for 2019?

We'll talk about our criteria for judging very academically and press forward with popular votes for our playlist for the evening. It's going to be our most interactive Immersive Listening Olio yet—transitioning straight into ::jazz hands:: dancing the night away and celebrating the close to 2018.
