Is there room for morality in a love story? In this Olio we will discuss the connections between two ancient myths (one Greek and the other Indian) and learn to apply them to our modern condition.

Dr. Adluri will present the Indian epic Ramayana as a parable for the initiation and psychoanalytic development of the “just soul”. Using the story of Persephone in the background, allows us to understand the shape of ancient thought and its contemporary relevance in a new way.

What is Think Olio?

Think Olio is here to put the liberation back into the liberal arts.
